真白い壁の前に干されていた僧侶のローブは

あまりにも鮮やかな朱色で、

その様子はまるで一枚の絵画のようだった。

The brilliant orange-red robes of monks 

hung in front of the white wall

 strongly drew my attention, 

because that was just like a beautiful painting.

炎のような輝きを持つ木。 まさに。

I often saw trees which have bright red flowers in Laos, 

and was wondering what the name is.

Now I know it's called "Flame Tree".
